The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has said it will begin publishing the names of shortlisted applicants for its ongoing recruitment exercise from Monday, December 1, 2025.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Secretary to the Board, Abdulmalik Jubril, advised all applicants to log on to the recruitment portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, between December 1 and December 3, to confirm their application status.

According to him, the selection followed a merit-based assessment of candidates’ performance in the earlier stages of the recruitment process.

“Applicants who performed well have been shortlisted strictly on merit and are advised to visit www.recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from Monday to Wednesday to select their preferred screening venue and date,” he said.

THEWILL reports that the recruitment exercise covers all agencies under the Board, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service, Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the CDCFIB.

Jubril further disclosed that physical screening and document verification for shortlisted candidates will hold nationwide from December 8 to December 12, across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

He cautioned applicants to rely solely on the Board’s official portal for updates, warning them to ignore messages circulating via emails, social media, or other unofficial channels.

While congratulating successful applicants, Jubril reiterated that the shortlisting process complied with the Federal Character principle and the specific manpower requirements of the respective services.
